Gala night for East Melbourne Group

The East Melbourne Group gathered at the Alexandra Club for the popular annual gala night dinner.

In a beautiful setting of this hidden treasure in Collins Street, 70 guests dressed in their finest. They enjoyed pre-dinner drinks and nibbles, a delicious menu of Gippsland produce finished off with the best dessert in town … individual souffles. The best Australian wines and bubbles were served throughout. 

The Oaks Day luncheon will be held at Geppetto Trattoria on Thursday November 7. Everyone is welcome. RSVP to [email protected].

The East Melbourne Community Christmas Picnic will be held in the beautiful gardens of Bishopscourt, Clarendon Street, East Melbourne between 2pm and 5pm on Sunday December 15. 

There will be craft stalls, a cake stall, face painting, balloons, choir singing, opera singing, raffles and more.  This is a family event.  Everybody welcome. Santa arrives on the fire truck at about 3pm. •
