Join the East Melbourne Community Choir in 2025!
The East Melbourne Community Choir, established in 2023, is seeking a new choir director to lead, inspire and nurture community spirit through the power of music.
This is a paid position and the leader will be supported by a pianist and choir administrator.
The choir is an un-auditioned, diverse and welcoming group, with a range of musical experience from beginners to experienced singers. The choir sings an eclectic repertoire of music including musicals, pop, folk and classical in two- and three-part harmony as well as rounds and some unison.
It has become a place of connection, learning and shared joy in music. New members are always welcome.
Now, we are looking for a leader who can inspire and lead us in the future.
Rehearsals take place each Tuesday (during school term), 7pm to 8.30pm each week.
Venue: Unitarian Church, 110 Grey St, East Melbourne.
Membership: 30-50 members.
