Local real estate pioneer awarded as Melbourne’s best agent

Gina Donazzan, founder of local real estate agency Donazzan Boutique Property, has taken out Melbourne’s Agent of the Year for the second year running in the recent RateMyAgent awards, landing her in the top five per cent of agents nationwide.

It is the third time Ms Donazzan has won the award, which is based on reviews from both buyers and sellers.

A statement to Ms Donnazzan from RateMyAgent Australia read, “you’ve been recognised to be in the top five per cent of leading agents within Australia for the exceptional service you have delivered, providing your clients with positive life-changing outcomes they will never forget.”

During the past 12 months, Ms Donazzan sold 17 properties with a total sale value of almost $16 million and an average sale price of $923,000: more than $200,000 more than her nearest competitor.

Ms Donazzan told Inner City News she was “honoured and humbled” by the loyalty of her team, clients and community over the past 25 years.

“Being honest and upfront, and telling the truth from the beginning is very important to me,” Ms Donazzan said.

It’s not just about getting another listing, or making another sale, it’s not just about where their property sits in the market, or how the market is behaving at that point in time, it’s about where my client is in their life.

“I’m not going to tell you to sell a property if I don’t think both the property and the seller are ready, because selling a property is one of the biggest decisions you can make in your lifetime.”

Having worked in Melbourne’s property industry for two-and-a-half decades, Ms Donazzan has left a trail of happy clients, many of whom have graduated from purchaser to vendor – a true recognition of her consistency and dedication to her craft.
