Belle Property expands into Melbourne’s inner north

Following a merger with Alexkarbon Real Estate, Belle Property has set its sights on Melbourne’s inner north, opening offices in Ascot Vale and North Melbourne. 

For the past 10 years Alexkarbon has proven a success in Melbourne’s inner north, and will be bringing across a strong rent roll of more than 700 residential properties, a large team of sales agents, and a solid pipeline of listings.

Principal of Belle Property Melbourne and Belle Property Carlton Scott McElroy said the decision to merge would bring together two very experienced teams in Melbourne’s inner north. 

“Well established local agents, Alex Puglia and Charles Bongiovanni [from Alexkarbon] have a very strong business in the area and expanding into Ascot Vale is a natural fit and strategic move due to the trends we are seeing from customers moving both inwards and outwards along this inner north corridor of Melbourne,” Mr McElroy said.
“We think it is a great meeting of minds and good people. Having a Belle Property North Melbourne office will give us better coverage of the area and it also complements our existing foothold with Belle Property Carlton as well as our presence at Belle Property Albert Park and Belle Property South Melbourne.”

Mr Puglia said the Alexkarbon team felt the Belle Property brand was well suited to the Ascot Vale area as “it aligns well to the style of the properties”. 

Mr Bongiovanni, who has had an extensive career in Ascot Vale stretching more than 25 years, also added that while their team had a “strong local connection” they were attracted to being part of a group with a national offering.

“With Belle Property we can service clients right across Melbourne while having the support of a national brand,” he said. 

“We already have clients buying in Melbourne’s inner north who live in other states, now we can refer them to other Belle Property offices and that is really exciting.”

Following Alexkarbon rebranding its offices, Mr McElroy, Mr Puglia and Mr Bongiovanni will be partnering as leaders of both offices in conjunction with Andy Lusi from Alexkarbon for Belle Property Ascot Vale and Sam Fenna from Belle Property Carlton for Belle Property North Melbourne.
